As part of this we need to install a new interface card on one of our routers.<br /><br />This is going to be carried out on the 9th July 2009 at 9.30am. (There are still some residual problems but these are now very few).<br /><br />Th problem was caused by a 'bad' domain transfer which was required because our last domain registar went bankrupt. Domain transfers are normally never needed but when they do happen they should be seemless. Unfortunately this one did not go to plan, with the new registar not transferring across our existing DNS nameservers. The problem has now been corrected but this did mean that for 4 hours nameservers were serving up incorrect information.<br /><br />I would like to apologies again for this outage. We are working on ensuring it never happens again.
